NIB- York's haunted past

As Halloween approaches, York’s ghosts prepare for their seasonal scare-fest. According to the Ghost Research Foundation International, York is the most haunted city in the world, with more than 500 recorded sightings. York’s long history of bloodshed and grizzly tales has made it a hub for paranormal activity. There have been the most sightings at Clifford’s Tower, which supposedly drips with blood every year after the 12th-century Jewish persecution. At St. Mary’s Abbey, a lost monk is said to roam the ancient ruins. Not to mention the Red Lion pub, which is haunted by the infamous highwayman, Dick Turpin. Which spots will you be visiting first?
