The Playlist: A Taste of Beacons

Beacons Festival is almost upon us. In just a few weeks, Skipton will once again be awash with wellied-up music lovers of all varieties.

Back for its second year after playing host to the likes of Mount Kimbie, Jessie Ware and King Krule last time around, the mid-sized festival is no lightweight when it comes to picking rising stars of the UK’s scene. Once again Beacons has curated a fantastic lineup of electronic, hip-hop, indie and more for just half of what the big festivals set you back. We’ve got a full preview to come, but in the meantime here’s a selection of tracks from what Beacons has to offer.

Beacons opens its camping on Thursday 15th of August, with music starting on the Friday. the For more information on beacons click here.
