How have the club performed this season?

The club have performed outstandingly this season with each team finishing their leagues in great positions. The First team just missed a double promotion, finishing second in their new league, and it has been very exciting making it to the cup quarter finals for the first time!

What are you expecting from Lancaster?

They are a league above so we know they will come out hard and strong and very well prepared. They will come with the confidence to win, however we have beaten teams above their league this year, so, so will we!

Which individual players do you expect to stand out?

Megan Gonsalves is a fresher for the the third team this year and has dominated the centre court with some fearsome moves and will be sure to rule the court on Sunday! The first team have formed a perfect defending duo of Lottie Hyett and Chloe Cannon, both new to the firsts, and have proven a force that no ball can get through! They are two girls to really watch as they fly for balls this sunday!

Why should people come and watch your sport?

The University of York Netball Club are in the best physical and mental shape of strength, talent and determination for domination! This year has the potential to be the first UYNC White Wash, so come down for intense, exhilarating games of fast speed netball!

Nouse verdict: After four consecutive Roses defeats, York Netball firsts are in prime position to buck the trend and grab all four points on offer. A successful BUCS Northern 3B League campaign saw the team comfortably record second place while also claiming the accolade of the only team to have beaten eventual league victors, Leeds Seconds. They should, therefore, take confidence from there performances this year as they come up against a strong Lancaster team once more. With six netball fixtures to choose from, netball is definitely one to watch.

  1. Twitter: Totally enjoyed reaidng your thoughts and feelings on Top 5 Reasons Men Fall in Love Martin. As usual enlightening and what I note most from your blog is Respect for each other.I can only be myself at ALL times, so authenticity and acceptance of each others dreams, together with support for those dreams to be a reality (my words) is one of the reasons that stood out for me.One thing I know is none of us are perfect and if 2 peoples heart sing in harmony then anythings possible.Tetka Rhu recently posted..
