Between 6th January and 7th February, part of the path between the University and Imphal Army Barracks will be closed due to “essential maintenance works”.

According to the University’s website, the foot and cycle path will be closed due to Northern Power company improving “the electricity infrastructure around York.”

Pedestrians and cyclists are instead being diverted through Low Moor allotments and down Kilburn Road.

Additionally, between 20th January and 24th January, an 80m section of road between Hospital Fields Road and the River Ouse will be closed. During this period, there will be a diversion via Maple Grove.

Full maps of the affected routes are available from the University website.
