YUSU election timetable released

The timetable for the YUSU elections has been released, detailing the main events of the upcoming election.

Candidate nominations will open on the Monday of Week Four and close on Thursday of Week Five at 12 p.m. Candidates are forbidden from starting their campaigns until the Friday of Week Six, and are restrained by a number of regulations including rules detailing how much they are permitted to spend.

Speculation about potential candidates for the position of President and other Sabbatical Officers has started already. Follow The Race online to keep up to date with the latest election developments.

Voting will open on Wednesday of Week Seven at 12 p.m. and close on Thursday of Week Seven at 12 p.m. The results of the election are to be announced on Thursday of Week Seven in Courtyard.
