Helen and Philip: Both extremely proud of Peter and Elanin. However, they want to “increase lots of events that promote taking a positive attitude” to being part of the LGBT committee. Everywhere should be a safe space… but this will be quite difficult in the real world. Completely agree with Tom and Nell with education…. hmmmm… nothing new?

Tom and Nell believe “it’s more important to focus on campus as a whole and make sure that people are safe” They believe that everybody needs to know about LGBT and want to focus on education. They claim that people often say things they don’t necessarily mean which can offend people because they “do not know any better”.

The other two now, claim that trans inclusion is “necessary and important” and that “LGBT is being used as an umbrella term”.

They realise that the divide between LGBT Welfare and Events must be kept seperate.

“Anyone who can contribute contstructively” should be allowed and they question the value of including heterosexual people in LGBT.
