Verity Hill & Robyn Heather
Both Verity Hill and Robyn Heather have a range of experience in campaigning for environmental issues.
Verity Hill is currently treasurer for People and Planet on campus, whilst Robyn Heather is the ex-People and Planet Chair. Heather has also been Social Secretary and Press and Publicity Officer of People and Planet. Hill was 10:10 Campaigns Co-ordinator for People and Planet.
Their manifesto promises to focus on lobbying the University to improve its recycling as well as helping it achieve its 10:10 goal by identifying areas where energy is being wasted, so that real and effective change can be made.
Other policies include making it easier for people to get second hand clothes, by running more clothes swaps and fashion shows, and to get a wider range of Fairtrade good across campus and in vending machines.
They hope to generally raise awareness through more environment and ethical focused events.
