Candidate profiles from YUSU Elections 2010

David Hansen’s campaign proposes “fair rules, fair chances and a fair say for everyone.” His policies are wide-ranging, and focus on embracing the variety and diversity that exists within the University of York.

He is committed to fostering an environment where all societies and sports can flourish and are open and inclusive for everyone. Hansen also makes promises to “introduce progressive initiatives which embrace the improvement of student directives” and “reform the structure to create a new world of happiness for everyone.”

While he has no previous YUSU experience working, he has emphasised the commitment and political drive he will bring to the role of President.

  1. I coped and pasted a load of stuff from the Tory/Labour/Lib Dem websites for my nomination form and changed ‘this country’ to ‘this campus’ and ‘Tory/Labour/Lib Dem’ to ‘Dave’.

    I hope that the above description doesn’t give the impression that I have actual policies.
