I’m guessing that was probably made in jest, but seriously, remember that the tension and conflict in Northern Ireland is not because of religion, it is because of identity. You can as easily get Roman Catholic unionists as much as you can get republican Protestants. It would be best if people remembered that, and didn’t smear all Northern Irish people with the same brush.

Oh, and over a year later, it’s still unclear whether Iris Robinson acted illegally.
