Tom Eleftheriades Memorial Service
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Tom Eleftheriades, a 2nd year Vanbrugh College student who died suddenly during fresher’s week, is to take place tomorrow, Saturday 21st November.
The event will be held at the chapel in York Cemetery, from 1-3pm, and is open to all those who knew Tom, and anyone from the University who wishes to pay their respects.
An email has been sent by Xenoula Eleftheriades to all Tom’s fellow Language and Linguistic students and to those in Vanbrugh College, informing them of the event: “Paul from Tom’s break dancing group had kindly offered to arrange this for us” and there will be “breakin’, eating and chatting…just as Tom would have loved.” The memorial service will be an opportunity for all Tom’s friends and family to unite, and talk about their finest memories of him.
