College Cup final date decided

After lengthy discussions, the date and time has been set for the final of the College Cup.

The game will take place on the astroturf at 6.00pm this Monday (Week 10) and will see Alcuin and Vanbrugh pitted against each other in the summer showpiece.

Fans and players alike have been kept waiting as the captains negotiated times, trying to make sure that all key players on both teams would be available. The final hurdle was to confirm the pitch booking late last night. The decision means that doubts Mark Gouland, Paul Taylor, Parris Williams and Laurie Swann should all be involved in the tie – great news for the neutral.
