BBC Crimewatch film Claudia reconstruction on campus
The BBC filmed a reconstruction of the disappearance of University chef Claudia Lawrence last night.
North Yorkshire Police closed off University Road last night to enable the filming, which will be aired on June 2nd.
Several scenes were shot, including one outside Barbara Scott Court depicting a man dressed in dark clothing arguing with Claudia near a car parked on the grass.
The Crimewatch team then filmed a scene on Melrosegate, where Claudia was spotted by a cyclist, arguing with the same man and looking distressed.
While Lawrence disappeared nine weeks ago, police hope the reconstruction will encourage more witnesses to come forward.
