RAG pair drop out as hustings continues
Sarah Goss and Will Scobie have withdrawn their candidacy for the position of RAG Officers today.
Goss and Scobie pulled out of the race today, the same day that RAG Officer was due to be discussed at the YUSU Hustings. Goss cited “personal reasons” as the cause of their decision.
Returning Officer Tom Scott has not commented on the withdrawal.
RAG Officer had been the most highly contested of the part-time YUSU positions. The withdrawal of Goss and Scobie leaves Iszi Chew campaigning against the pair of Helen Fry and Zoe Stones.
