By allowing people to have operations the point is already made that it's not simply people suggesting that they'd like to have a female body. You know, sometimes I'd like a female body... doesn't mean that I should get surgery free and then regret it later. Safeguards are in place to make sure that people are certain that they want to make the physical changes that they suggest match their natural mental state... and unfortunately it seems that too often the process is excessively lengthy, costly, etc, for it to be possible for many people. Whilst that doesn't really affect me, I feel sorry for those that are stuck in the middle of such bureaucracy. Oh, and the twice-pregnant-man thing is a joke and has probably damagedthe transsexual agenda.
