This is a bit of lazy reporting...

1) it's actually called the York Annual Fund (not alumni fund)

2) As an alumnus and donor I know the development and alumni relations office ARE doing lots of work, including working with colleges and encouraging alumni to come back to volunteer. I myself was contacted through the office to do some business mentoring. Give them some credit. HE fundraising and alumni relations is a tough business with a relatively unwilling audience. York's done an exceedingly good job in a short period of time and I'm proud to be an alum and a donor.

3) Since the author feels so strongly about this, will he himself give to the Annual Fund? How about a Nouse graduation gift?
