York to hold first graduation in China
The University of York is set to hold its first overseas graduation ceremony in Beijing this Easter. Aiming to celebrate the achievements of York alumni from the Asia Pacific region, it has been hailed by the President of the Overseas Society, Rosie Li, as “an exciting movement, giving Asian Pacific students the opportunity to share the invaluable moment of graduation with their families and friends.” Presided over by the University Chancellor and Vice Chancellor, the ceremony also aims to cement York’s connections in the Asia Pacific region and encourage a greater international student population at the University.
