YUSU to buy two new golden ducks
Services and Finance Officer Matt Burton has submitted a motion to the next UGM to mandate the Union to purchase two new ruddy shelducks to replace the famous ‘Trevor’ duck that died over the summer. The new male duck, which would be branded Your:Duck but named Trevor, would be supported by the full powers of the YUSU executive, including being “appropriately exercised” by the AU President. A second year student, who has asked to remain anonymous for emotional reaons, said: “I think calling the new duck ‘Trevor’ defiles his memory. I can’t believe they would be so insensitive about this.”
