JCR chairs protest state of facilities

The chairs of all seven college JCRCs have sent a letter to the University’s Director of Facilities Management expressing concern at what “appears to be a deliberate policy by the University to avoid providing the adequate facilities where posssible.” The letter was sparked by the recent announcement that the Alcuin-Langwith bridge, which has been closed since Christmas, is to be demolished. The college chairs have urged the University to improve the quality of facilties “which make a difference to day-to-day mobility on campus and to the overall student experience.”
