I have tried to get this to the bottom-line basics: YUSU paid officer hitting a student and needing to resign for reasons iterated over and over and over again. I did this at the UGM- Grace did not. All the justifications of the attack (including Grace's apology) were centered on the fact that I was the 'victim' of the action, as well as the fact that Grace is only 5ft5 and me a lot larger. That is personalising the campaign and it has certainly not come from me. I can say that throughout, I have not name-called or said anything without evidence of some sort. I think one of the reasons the vote went the way it did, was because people saw the clear personal nature of Grace's support group and their attacks on the individual involved rather than the action committed.
