may be if you were not so PLUMPY it would not take you 2o mins to walk home,
BUT as I take the 4 back home to the village, I KNOW for a fact it never takes 20 mins to get to the uni, NEVER so bascily your talking crap. on av it takes 9 - 12 depending on traffic., OH yes and idiots not having correct chanhe knowing full well its a correct change system,
Oh before you rant on, if any one goes to some citys in scotland they still use dropboxes. as in the 80s, a chute that you put your fare down, that the driver sees,
so york is not the only depot to use exact fare.
its so scary that STUDENTS can not get there stupid heads around exact fare,

BASIC yes BASIC skills for STUDENTS that wish to use A BUS.!!!
1) let the driver you want to catch the bus PUT YOUR ARM OUT
( 99.999% of STUDENTS do not do this, universit stops are NOT compulsory drivers do not have to stop. 1a its good manners to ask the the driver to stop)
2) have the correct fare and or ticket pass ready before you board the bus again 99.999% of STUDENTS do not do this. ( fact once had a student get on my bus at cliford street, and showed me 4 yes 4 tickets from her arm pocket of her coat, before she got the right ticket. The other 4 were out of date !!!
3) use good manners, say please and thank you, dont snatch the ticket from the machine and storm off down the bus like most of you do.
remember you need the busses more than the busses need you,
