A message of thanks
To all members of Nouse past and present who will be graduating this year we would just like to say massive thanks from the current team.
Mentions must go out to last year’s News Editor Simon Davis whose eye for a good story produced some of the most outstanding journalism seen at York in recent times; our effervescent Features Editors Becky Mitchell and Rachel Ringstead for their immaculate dress sense and previous Bar and Restaurants Editor, and longest-standing member of Nouse, Flora Bradwell who became our mentalist Social Secretary for her final year.
Similarly, thanks goes out to former Sports Editor Luke Chiverton for his quirky, jovial personality which always added a positive buzz to the office all-nighters; Tom King whose excellent critiques led to a nomination in last year’s Student Guardian Media Awards, and University Challenge contestant, Olly Chadwick’s alternative view on York events that provided an intriguing backdrop for our Last Word column.
Other previous editorial staff members, Jessica Levy, Amit Thaker, Laurence Newman, Chris Spilane, Ben Toone, John Prebble, David Cole and Adam Roney are also equally thanked for their hard-work and dedication.
Our final mention must go to ex-editors Lauren Carter and Toby Hall for their enthusiasm, late-night lovers tiffs and immeasurable dedication to the newspaper over the past years, ultimately transforming it into what it is today. They’ll certainly miss having the use of the office.
