educational campaigns

Second year Langwith student, Chris Payne, is the new Educational Campaigns Officer. Chris stood uncontested and had no need to fear the mysterious RON. Chris considers his most pressing priority is to extend the library opening hours. Ultimately he would like to see the library open 24 hours a day, but acknowledges that this may take considerable time and effort. However, this is an aspiration Chris is determined to fight for. A further goal, which he is keen to tackle in the forthcoming year, is to get the bane of every student’s life – the dreaded Saturday exam – consigned to the rubbish tip once and for all. Chris’ attitude is straightforward and pragmatic; he wants to identify achievable aims that will help to improve the lives of all students across campus. By setting targets on issues of widespread concern he believes he will get student support and be able to make a real difference.
